As recruitment consultants for Manager, Director, Executive and Professional roles we cover almost any business sector and role specialism. A manager joining our register is likely to be influential, experienced and battle-hardened. We focus on the candidate’s track record and transferable skills to ensure that our clients recruit energy, knowledge and success. We offer experience from many industry sectors including – agribusiness, brewing, care, catering, engineering, health, hospitality, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, public transport, commercial & public services and more – at executive and board level.

Companies have equal need for functional and managerial competence. In preparing a shortlist we give less weight to sector background and more to breadth of management contribution. We look for personal and managerial competences. The range of our database also means that we can sometimes provide a good Interim Manager or Consultant, although most of our placements are to permanent roles. We act as an employment agency.

Candidates will have been thoroughly assessed, by an HR professional, before the client sees them. We do not just send CVs. Once a candidate is placed, we actively support the new relationship for 60 days (added guarantees, but no cost), using module 1 of our Executive Coaching Programme. We can give support to the Client’s own interview process, if needed, as part of the standard service and without extra cost. Our objective is to add value for our Client and to build a relationship.
We aim to break the age barrier. There can be opportunities for candidates with smaller growing companies that can use the flexibility. We support the aims of the ‘Age Positive’ campaign.
Senior Managers Ltd is run by two HR professionals with over 40 years combined of HR management experience in national name companies. Both have earned their ‘tee shirts’ in change management and service and quality cultures.
